The USMC All Purpose Environmental Parka is a GoreTex outer shell jacket issued as part of the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). Constructed from 3-layer GoreTex fabric, it provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection in wet and cold climates. Features include a two-way front zipper with storm flap, adjustable hood, pit zips for ventilation, and drawcord adjustments at the waist and hem. Issued in Woodland MARPAT camouflage, the parka was standard Marine Corps issue beginning in the early 2000s.
