The US Military Universal Axillary Ballistic Panel is a part of the Deltoid Axillary Protection System (D.A.P.S). It is designed to provide additional protection to the shoulder and underarm areas. They are used with compatible body armor systems to increase coverage against ballistic and fragmentation threats.
